ENGINEERING

PLC Expert and BSEE – Troubleshoot Manufacturing Equipment in Fast-Paced Environment

Production Engineer / Electrical Engineer with PLC expertise and "on the mfg floor" experience.

  • But this is not a position for a "loner." We need you to be equally comfortable visiting outside equipment suppliers to specify concepts and requirements, and training the hourly workforce in proper use of the equipment.
  • Electrical Engineering degree and experience are required.

The role of the Optical Designer provides the creative and technical vision for new product offerings and system projects.  Opportunities for this role can also include development and mentorship of technical and lab team members.  With a strong background in illumination systems and a working knowledge of the lighting industry and related design software (such as Photopia), this role will work closely with the R&D and mechanical engineering teams.

The ideal candidate is bright, creative and motivated to excel. The following "musts" also apply:

  1. Educational requirements include at least a bachelors degree in engineering or design--Optical Engineering or Physics preferred.

  2. Experience in lighting and design with LED and fluorescent familiarity is a must.

  3. Thorough knowledge of lighting calculations, photometry, lighting design, and laboratory measurements required.

  4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific principles when problem solving.

The specific level of this position will depend on the experience and depth that you bring to the table. We will consider early career to senior-level experience, if you meet the specs outlined above.
